Morning Star Children's Home

In 2003, Ranelagh Christian Church started a children’s home in the countryside near Kochi. We decided to focus our efforts on helping young girls since they are often neglected in society. At present there are sixteen girls and three house parents living in the Morning Star Children's Home. We provide the girls with a secure and loving home. As they mature, we provide them also with a good education, and for those with the appropriate ability we provide a university education. For others, we ensure that they acquire skills that can help them become financially self-sufficient. At some point in the next few years we hope to extend the facilities to accommodate thirty children.
